Not many people look forward to the adventure of searching for a new used car. They find the task nerve wracking for fear of being conned. This article will not provide them with all the information there is about used cars but enough to help them make a well-informed decision about buying the right one. It will help them recognize right from wrong and more importantly what to look for and what to avoid, while browsing for used cars.

The first is the most obvious question; how old is the car? Then they should narrow it down to questions like; how many accidents has the car met with? When they start, the car is there any noise. If there is then, what is it? Where is it coming from? Why is it coming?

These questions more or less cover the preliminaries and then come the other more basic question just for the knowledge of the person buying that used car.

Is the paint original? Are all the parts inside and outside original? Has any part ever been rendered useless due to rust or lack of changing oil? Are tires of the car are original and not of a different model or make?

This short list of questions and thorough checking would help them see any obvious telltale signs of used car problems. They will also help with gauging potential problems and situations that may not be a bother at all. The set of questions mentioned above will also help in the perception of determining whether the used car has been in an accident or multiple accidents; which should suffice in making and informed decision.
